PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing deionized water which suppresses occurrence of slime due to proliferation of microorganisms in a concentration chamber of a deionized water production apparatus based on electrodialysis.SOLUTION: In a deionized water production apparatus, an ion exchanger is housed in a deionization chamber of an electrodialyzer 4 in which cation-exchange membranes and anion exchange membranes are arranged alternatively between a cathode and an anode.
