Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which an active material layer is formed of granulation particles containing a powdery active material, a binder and a conductive material on the surface of a collector, sufficient peel strength of the active material layer with respect to the collector can be ensured, and the internal resistance of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery can be prevented from increasing due to corrosion on the collector surface.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an electrode includes, in this order, a coating step S101 for coating a collector 51 with a hot melt binder aqueous solution 52, a drying step S102 for forming a hot melt binder layer 52A by drying the hot melt binder aqueous solution 52, a supply step S103 for supplying granulation particles 60 containing at least powdery active material 61 and a binder 62 to the hot melt binder layer 52A, and a heating/compressing step S104 for compressing the collector 51, hot melt binder layer 52A, and granulation particles 60 in the thickness direction of the collector 51 while heating.
