Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inexpensive lightweight film for a vibration plate of a speaker, which has a superior mechanical characteristic, heat resistance and sound quality characteristic.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a film for a vibration plate of a speaker comprises the steps of: melting and kneading a mixture including 5-60 mass% of a poly(ether-ether-ketone) resin having a repeating unit expressed by the chemical formula below, and 95-40 mass% of a polyether imide resin having a repeating unit expressed by another particular chemical formula and a glass transition point of 200°C or higher into a molding material; extrusion-molding the molding material into a film for a vibration plate of a speaker; and cooling the film between a pressure roller and a cooling roller. The film for a vibration plate after cooling has characteristics as follows: a loss tangent of 0.0150 or higher at 20°C; a tensile strength of 100 N/mm; a tensile elasticity of 2000-3500 N/mm; a heat resistance of 175°C or higher; a specific weight of 1.3 or less; and a thickness of 2-150 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
