Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorine-containing ether composition capable of producing a fluorine-containing ether compound that is useful as a fluorine-containing ether compound that is suitably used in a surface treatment agent or an intermediate body of the fluorine-containing ether compound, with good productivity.SOLUTION: A method for producing a fluorine-containing ether compound includes an operation of reacting an acid anhydride with A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OH to obtain A-O-Q-(RO)-R-R-OZ, where A is a perfluoroalkylene group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; Q is a single bond, a fluoroalkylene group containing one or more hydrogen atoms, or the like; Rand Rare each independently a perfluoroalkylene group; m is an integer of 2 to 200; (RO)may be formed from two or more RO; Ris an alkylene group or the like; and Z is a group in which -OH is removed from an acid being the base of the acid anhydride.SELECTED DRAWING: None
