Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality functional plastic lens by insert molding of filling a functional sheet into a molding tool.SOLUTION: The functional plastic lens is manufactured in such manners that a functional sheet S bent with different accuracies in different directions is filled into a molding tool 50 and that insert molding is conducted so that a lens body can be formed integrally with the functional sheet S. The functional sheet S is filled into the molding tool 50 in a manner such that the direction of filling a resin is not perpendicular to a reference axis A, which is along a direction in which the functional sheet S is bent with a higher accuracy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
