Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hydrogen separation membrane of a solid-solution single phase alloy capable of guaranteeing balance between hydrogen permeability, hydrogen embrittlement resistance and durability.SOLUTION: A high-pressure torsion (HPT) processing is performed as a strong strain processing for imparting giant strain of ε=10 or larger, to a thin film-shaped metal selectively permeable by hydrogen, for example to vanadium, to thereby manufacture a vanadium film having a grain size number of 20, and an average grain diameter of d=390 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
