Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an aluminum-based hypoeutectic alloy ingot from which well-producible, uniform and microscopic solidification structure can be obtained by a simple method.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for an aluminum-based hypoeutectic alloy ingot includes the immersion of a supersonic oscillation horn in a molten aluminum alloy that is a molten aluminum-based hypoeutectic alloy and the impressing of supersonic oscillation to the molten aluminum alloy with the supersonic oscillation horn. The temperature Tof starting the impressing of supersonic oscillation to the molten aluminum alloy with the supersonic oscillation horn is the liquidus line temperature Tof the aluminum-based hypoeutectic alloy, and the temperature Tof finishing the impressing of supersonic oscillation with the supersonic oscillation horn is a liquidus line temperature Tof °C -5.
