Abstract:
The purposes of the present invention are: to obtain a stable dispersion with a small dispersant amount to thereby obtain a high-refractive-index cured object for optical members; and to provide a process for producing a dispersion of fine inorganic particles, the process needing no use of any small-particle-diameter medium which is extremely expensive and is usable in limited dispersing machines, causing no over-dispersion under high-solid-concentration conditions, and being capable of greatly shortening the period of dispersing step. The process is for producing a dispersion of fine inorganic particles using a medium-type wet-process dispersing machine, and is characterized in that when supplying the following (A) to (D) to the wet-process dispersing machine, at least (D) is supplied last. (A) Zirconium oxide nanoparticles (B) Silane coupling agent (C) Dispersing medium (D) Dispersant Also provided are a curable composition which contains a dispersion obtained by the production process, and a cured object obtained from the composition.
