Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix liquid crystal display device in which a plurality of kinds of circuits are formed on the same substrate and a plurality of kinds of thin film transistors are provided in accordance with characteristics of the plurality of kinds of circuits separately.SOLUTION: An inverted-coplanar thin film transistor having an oxide semiconductor layer which overlaps with a source electrode layer and a drain electrode layer is used as a pixel thin film transistor. A channel-protective thin film transistor is used as a driver-circuit thin film transistor. Main parts of the pixel thin film transistor are formed using light-transmitting material, so that aperture ratio is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
