Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a male and/or female which can enhance mechanical strength and rigidity of a door hinge while suppressing an increase in weight and manufacturing cost of the same and has excellent moldability.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a door hinge male and/or female having an attachment part and an arm part formed integrally to make a predetermined angle includes: a first step of forming an intermediate material, having an axis parallel with the axis of a columnar material and a shape with a bent cross section by a plane face vertical to the axis, by pressing the material on cold forging; and a second step of manufacturing a male and/or female by removing an unnecessary part. At least a portion of a part to be removed in the second step can be removed by cutting using a shear blade. When the intermediate material is to be cut in the second step, the unnecessary part of the intermediate material may be kept away from blade tip by receiving the blade tip angle θ of the shear blade within a specific range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
