Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for rail having high strength and high ductility.SOLUTION: A material to be rolled is hot rolled at a finish temperature of austenitic range temperature or more and 1000°C or less to make a rail with a shape having a head part, an abdomen part and a foot part, at least the head part of the hot rolled rail is heated by induction heating apparatus 4, the heated rail is accelerating cooled by an acceleration cooling device 5, and it is heated so that a surface temperature of at least the head part of the rail becomes 750°C or more at acceleration cooling starting time at the accelerate cooling device 5 when heating the rail by the induction heating apparatus 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
