Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a mixed gas performable at a low cost, capable of stably and efficiently performing the carbon dioxide modification of hydrocarbon without causing the problem that catalytic activity is deteriorated by carbon precipitation onto a catalyst, and capable of producing a mixed gas (synthesized gas) of desired heat quantity.SOLUTION: High temperature solidified slag produced in a slag solidification process where molten steel slag is solidified is charged to a reaction container A for carbon dioxide modification, this solidified slag is used as a catalyst and a heat source to perform carbon dioxide modification, further, the solidified slag in the reaction container A is replaced with new solidified slag per prescribed time, and the conversion rate of the hydrocarbon is controlled, or the mixing ratio between the hydrocarbon to form into a raw material gas and the carbon dioxide is controlled to produce a mixed gas having heat quantity per desired unit volume.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
