To provide a non-coating type moisture permeable and waterproof fabric equipped with both excellent waterproof performance and moisture permeable performance and exhibiting a soft touch feeling and excellent color-developing property, also a method for producing the same and a fibrous product of the same.

This method is provided by weaving a double-layered fabric by using a multifilament having ≥0.1 dtex single filament fineness as a fiber for a surface layer and on the other hand, as the fiber for the reverse layer, using at least an islands in sea type fiber multifilament consisting of the island component and sea component and having 10 to 1,000 nm diameter of the island components, and then dissolving/removing the above sea component by an aqueous alkali solution.
