Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an olefin polymer that makes it possible to produce an olefin polymer with high activity and effectively can prevent the internal contamination of a polymerization vessel.SOLUTION: A method for producing an olefin polymer includes (co)polymerizing an olefin in a polymerization vessel, the olefin selected from the group consisting of ethylene and C3-C20 α-olefin in the presence of (A) solid catalyst component for olefin polymerization and (B) amide compound of the general formula (I) (where Rand Rare a hydrocarbon group having 1 or more and 32 or less carbon atoms, R, Rand Rare a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1 or more and 18 or less carbon atoms, an oxygen-containing hydrocarbon group or a sulfur-containing hydrocarbon group, a and b are an integer of 0 or more, a+b is 1 or more).SELECTED DRAWING: None
