Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element having a more simplified constitution and excellent luminous characteristics.SOLUTION: In an organic EL element 10, a first electrode 2, an organic compound layer including a luminous layer 4, a second electrode 6 and a sealing base material 13 are formed, in the order on an element substrate 1. A light diffusive resin layer 12 diffusing light emitted from the luminous layer 4 is provided at at least one of places between the element substrate 1 and the first electrode 2 and between the sealing base material 13 and the second electrode 6.
