Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide catalyst which is used when unsaturated aldehyde or unsaturated nitrile is produced by using olefin and/or alcohol as raw materials and which can allow the unsaturated aldehyde or the unsaturated nitrile to be produced in high yield while suppressing generation of by-products such as carbon dioxide, and to provide a production method of the oxide catalyst and a method for producing the unsaturated aldehyde or the unsaturated nitrile by using the oxide catalyst.SOLUTION: The oxide catalyst contains molybdenum, bismuth, iron, cobalt and a lanthanide element and has 0.20-1.0 of a ratio of (four-coordinate iron)/((four-coordinate iron)+(six-coordinate iron)).
