Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a palladium separation agent capable of separating palladium from a palladium ion solution in a range of low concentration to high concentration in a short time period and at high selectivity, and to provide a method of separating palladium using the palladium separation agent.SOLUTION: A palladium separation agent obtained by contacting a palladium separation base in which a functional group represented by general formula (1) is bound to a carrier, with an acid, is used. In the general formula (1), R is a hydrogen atom, a chain hydrocarbon group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 14 carbon atoms, a carboxymethyl group or a carboxyethyl group, n is an integer of 1 to 4, and Z is an amide bond.
