Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structural color particles which enable a structural color with a clear hue to be observed even when both a decorative object in which a particle structure is held by a binder having comparatively low light absorption and a decorative object having no binder are formed.SOLUTION: There are provided particles from which a particle structure that enables a structural color to be observed can be produced. The particles contain a shell portion which is formed from a core portion, polydopamine or its derivative and has a film thickness of 1.0 nm or more and 10.0 nm or less. The particles have an extinction coefficient to light at a wavelength of 380 nm or more and 780 nm or less of 0.1 or less, and a refractive index to light at a wavelength of 380 nm or more and 780 nm or less of 1.7 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
