Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing pentamethylene diisocyanate that can efficiently remove hydrolyzable chlorine and to provide an apparatus for producing pentamethylene diisocyanate by which the method for producing a pentamethylene diisocyanate is carried out.SOLUTION: A carbonyl chloride and a pentamethylene diamine is reacted to produce a reaction product including pentamethylene diisocyanate and hydrolyzable chlorine (reaction step); then the reaction product is subjected to heating treatment (heating treatment step); after that, the reaction product after subjected to heating treatment is distilled to purify the pentamethylene diisocyanate (purification step). In the heating treatment step, a tar component produced by distilling the reaction product in the purification step is introduced into the reaction product before subjected to heating treatment and the reaction product is heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
