Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a pneumatic tire including an inner liner rubber member and suppressing decline in durability caused by oxidation degradation of rubber.SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the pneumatic tire includes: a first process of manufacturing the inner liner rubber member using butyl rubber; a second process of forming an unvulcanized tire by using the inner liner rubber member; a third process of vulcanizing the unvulcanized tire; and a fourth process of removing oil included in the inner liner rubber member before the second process or the inner liner rubber member of the unvulcanized tire after the third process. Thus, acetone extraction amount in the inner liner rubber member of the pneumatic tire in JIS K6229 is adjusted to less than 10 wt.%.
