Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a beverage having a reduced polyphenol content which is excellent in polyphenol removing efficiency and in which a handling of adsorbent material is facilitated.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a method for producing a beverage having a reduced polyphenol content comprising contacting a polyphenol-containing beverage or the like with a polymer substrate obtained by graft polymerization of a polymerizable monomer comprising N-vinylalkylamide is provided. According to the present invention, a method for reducing polyphenol content in a polyphenol-containing beverage or the like comprising contacting the polyphenol-containing beverage or the like with the polymer substrate is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
