Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of polyvinyl ester providing polyvinyl ester having narrow molecular weight distribution in short time.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of polyvinyl ester by polymerizing a vinyl ester monomer by controlled radical polymerization in presence of a polymerization initiator (A) and an organic cobalt complex (B), the polymerization initiator (A) contains a polymerization initiator (a1) and a polymerization initiator (a2), 10 hr half-life temperature T1 of the polymerization initiator (a1) is 25 to 55°C, 10 hr half-life temperature T2 of the polymerization initiator (a2) is 3 to 35°C lower than T1 and molecular weight distribution of the polyvinyl ester (Mw/Mn) is 1.05 to 1.70.SELECTED DRAWING: None
