Abstract:
To provide a derivative for manufacturing a polyvinylamine solution of which solution viscosity is not reduced even when stored for long time, and which has high storage stability, in manufacturing a polyvinyl amine solution.SOLUTION: There is provided a powdery N-vinyl carboxylic acid amide polymer composition containing an N-vinyl carboxylic acid amide polymer, in which solution viscosity of polyvinyl amine obtained by hydrolysis of the polymer is 1.0×10mPa s (25°C) or less, content of an azo initiator in the solution is over 0 pts.mass and 0.05 pts.mass or less based on 100 pts.mass of the polyvinyl amine.SELECTED DRAWING: None
