Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product member capable of suppressing abrasion of cutting tools during a manufacturing process and excellent in abrasion resistance, flexure fatigue strength, low cycle flexure fatigue strength and machinability and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a product member and a manufacturing method therefor including a process of setting carburization temperature at 900° to 1050°C, carbon potential during carburization of 0.7 to 1.0%, carburization time at 60 to 240 min. constant temperature retention temperature at 820 to 870°C, carbon potential during constant temperature retention treatment at 0.7 to 0.9%, tempering temperature at 160°C to 200°C, tempering time at 60 min. to 180 min. when carburized material is obtained by conducting a carburization treatment, a constant temperature retention treatment, a hardening treatment and a tempering treatment on a coarse member and a process of setting rake angle of a cutting tool at over -30° and -5° or less, nose of the tool at 0.4 mm to 1.2 mm, seeding at over 0.1 mm/rev to 0.4 mm/rev or less, cutting rate at 50 m/min. to 150 m/min. and cutting at 0.05 mm to 0.2 mm when the product member is obtained by conducting a cutting processing on the carburized material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
