Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sealant for solar batteries which is arranged by use of ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and enables suppression of reduction of a crosslinking rate at the time of handling owing to elapse of time; and a method for manufacturing the sealant for solar batteries.SOLUTION: A sealant for solar batteries comprises a composition including an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and an organic peroxide. The composition further includes a chemical solution carrier. The organic peroxide is supported by the chemical solution carrier. The sealant thus arranged is hard to evaporate a crosslinker at the time of handling the sealant and consequently, the life of a sheet arranged by use of the sealant can be improved, and a stable physical property can be obtained after crosslinkage.
