Abstract:
Disclosed is a light-blocking member that is for an optical instrument and that has resilience even when made thin, and of which rupture, etc. of a film is difficult to arise. The light-blocking member for an optical element contains: a substrate that comprises a synthetic resin film; and a light-blocking film that is formed on at least one surface of the aforementioned substrate. The aforementioned light-blocking film is characterized by containing: a binder resin of which the hydroxyl value is at least 100 (mg KOH/g); carbon black; and microparticles of which the average particle size is less than 1 µm. Also, the aforementioned microparticles are characterized by being inorganic microparticles.
