PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silica/polymer compound type iminodiacetic-acid chelate adsorbent that enables high adsorption speed on trace quantity metallic element, quick processing, and use of a column.SOLUTION: A silica/polymer compound type iminodiacetic-acid chelate adsorbent contains a silica/polymer complex, formed by polymerizing three-dimensional polymers chain to SiOporous particles, and impregnated and carried with an iminodiacetic-acid disodium hydrate.
