Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sliding member having high sliding performance.SOLUTION: A method is for producing a copper alloy sliding member, and includes applying cold plastic working to a mixed material of a solid material of copper and a solid material of iron by bulk mechanical alloying method to produce the copper alloy in which the iron is dissolved in the copper. The atomic compositional percentage between the solid material of the iron and the solid material of the copper is 95:5, and a copper alloy in which the solid material of the iron is dissolved in the solid material of the copper by the bulk mechanical alloying method is produced, and thereafter heat and pressure are applied to the obtained copper alloy by a discharge plasma sintering method.
