To provide a method of manufacturing a solid electrolyte and a lithium battery wherein a lithium solid battery having a larger output and high safety can be fabricated.
The method of manufacturing the solid electrolyte having lithium ion conductive crystal includes: a step of forming a solid electrolyte green sheet containing oxide glass powders, each exhibiting lithium ion conductivity after heat treatment, inorganic powders, each having the lithium ion conductivity after heat treatment, and both of them (hereinafter, referred to as the lithium ion conductive powder); and a step of calcinating the solid electrolyte green sheet. The calcination step includes a temperature raising step, and the temperature raising step has a quick temperature raising step of raising the temperature by ≥1 min with a temperature gradient of ≥0.05 degrees C/sec.
