Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a solid fuel in which woody biomass is used as a raw material, material yield and calory yield are high, and which is mixed with coal and subjected to pulverization treatment to be used as fuel of a fine dust coal boiler.SOLUTION: Bark is roasted under the condition in which oxygen concentration is at most 10%, and temperature is 170-350°C, then moisture is adjusted to 10-50%, then densification is performed so that bulk density (measured according to JIS K 2151-6 [a bulk density test method]) may be at least 0.5 g/cm, to thereby produce solid fuel. Bulk density is high, thereby the solid fuel is mixed with coal and subjected to pulverization treatment, and can be used as fuel of a fine dust coal boiler by being mixed by high fraction.
