PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a storage container for a nonaqueous battery, which includes an electrode lead wire member improved in corrosion resistance in order to elongate the life of a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a storage container including an electrode lead wire member for a nonaqueous battery comprises the steps of: manufacturing an electrode lead wire member 18 by laminating, on a surface of a metallic lead-out sealing part 21, a corrosion-resistant thin film coating layer 22, and a second sealant layer 23 in turn, provided that the second sealant layer is a maleic anhydride-modified polyolefin based sealant resin film, or a polyolefin-based sealant resin film modified by an epoxy functional group, the thin film coating layer comprises a substance including a metal fluoride or a derivative thereof which cross-links a resin having a skeleton of hydroxyl group-containing polyvinyl alcohol or a copolymer resin thereof, and the thin film coating layer is formed in a belt-shaped pattern having a width narrower than, or the same as or wider than that of the second sealant layer; and then, joining, by heat, a first sealant layer of an exterior material with the second sealant layer of the electrode lead wire member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
