Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a titanium foil capable of manufacturing the titanium foil with purity similar to industrial pure titanium, providing an electrodeposited titanium with a smooth surface even when thickness of the electrodeposited titanium foil is thick with 40 μm or more in a molten salt electrolysis.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a metal titanium foil by a molten salt electrolysis, wherein at least a titanium electrodeposition surface of a cathode is metal molybdenum or metal silicon and molten salt bath is a molten salt bath wherein a titanium ion is dissolved in chloride of an alkali metal or a mixed salt of chloride and iodide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
