Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission belt manufacturing method that can be executed easily by using an existing vulcanizer.SOLUTION: In the transmission belt manufacturing method: a cylindrical-shaped uncrosslinked slab S' is internally fitted to be in contact with an inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical mold 40; the cylindrical mold 40 with the internally-fitted uncrosslinked slab S' is disposed inside a vulcanizer 50 such that inside and outside of the cylindrical mold 40 are partitioned; and inside the vulcanizer 50, relatively higher pressure steam is introduced to the inside of the cylindrical mold 40 while introducing relatively lower pressure steam to the outside of the cylindrical mold 40 for heating and pressurizing the uncrossed slab S' to mold a cylindrical belt slab.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7B
