Abstract:
To provide an alicyclic olefin polyvalent carbonate compound having a molecular weight distribution.
This method for producing the alicyclic olefin polyvalent carbonate compound is characterized by performing an ester-interchange reaction of a compound expressed by formula (1) with 3-cyclohexene-1-methanol (II) and a compound expressed by formula (III); HO-R-OH [e.g. a 2-16C alkane diol or a 5-16C alicyclic diol] to obtain a compound expressed by formula (IV).
