Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water electrolysis apparatus capable of producing highly concentrated functional water which cannot be reached by one time water supply.SOLUTION: There is provided a water electrolysis apparatus 100 which is a water electrolysis cell 30 having a solid electrolyte membrane 32, a first electrode part 40 having a first terminal plate and a first plate-like mesh electrode and a second electrode part 50 having a second terminal plate and a second plate-like mesh electrode and comprises: a water electrolysis cell in which the first mesh electrode is sandwiched between one surface of the solid electrolyte membrane and the first terminal plate where water flows along the one surface and the second mesh electrode is sandwiched between the other surface of the solid electrolyte membrane and the second terminal plate where water flows along the other surface; a power source for performing water electrolysis by the water electrolysis cell by passing a current between the first electrode part and the second electrode part; a storage part 112 for storing water passed through a passage between the one surface and the first terminal plate; and a pump 162 for re-supplying the water in the storage part to the passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
