Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member capable of emitting high-intensity fluorescence.SOLUTION: A wavelength conversion member 1 includes a wavelength conversion member body 10 and a low refractive index layer 20. The wavelength conversion member body 10 includes a glass matrix 11 and an inorganic phosphor powder 12 arranged in the glass matrix 11. The low refractive index layer 20 is arranged on a surface of the wavelength conversion member body 10. The low refractive index layer 20 has a refractive index lower than that of the inorganic phosphor powder 12.
