Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a zinc oxide ore from a raw ore containing fluorine, by which the fluorine concentration in the zinc oxide ore can be reduced to an extremely low concentration while maintaining the productivity of the zinc oxide ore.SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas dust cleaning step S40 for cleaning an exhaust gas dust generated in a drying/heating step S30, the total fluorine concentration of an exhaust gas dust cake after cleaning is measured, and at the same time, when the total fluorine concentration is less than an upper limit discrimination concentration, the exhaust gas dust cake after cleaning is circulation charged into a drying/heating furnace or to the upper stream side of the furnace, and when the total fluorine concentration is the upper limit discrimination concentration or higher, the exhaust gas dust cake after cleaning is discharged to the outside of a treating system. Consequently, the fluorine concentration in the zinc oxide ore can be controlled within an extremely low concentration range by the method for producing the zinc oxide ore.
