Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of zinc oxide ore which can reduce fluorine concentration of the zinc oxide ore to very low concentration while keeping zinc grade of the zinc oxide ore and running efficiency of a rotary kiln.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of zinc oxide ore comprises: a premix process S10 making reducing agent inner packaging pellet by mixing raw material ore and carbon reducing agent and granulating it; a reducing roasting process S20 getting rough zinc oxide by calcinating the reducing agent inner packaging pellet; a wet process S30 getting rough zinc oxide cake by giving a wet process to the rough zinc oxide and removing fluorine; and a drying and heating process S40 burning the rough zinc oxide cake in a drying and heating furnace. The carbon concentration of the rough zinc oxide cake charged for the drying and heating process is held in lower than 0.3 mass%.
