Abstract:

Aliphatic polyamines are formed selectively from aliphatic polynitriles having 2 to 3 atoms between cyano groups by reacting the aliphatic polynitrile with hydrogen in the presence of a primary or secondary amine in a fixed bed reactor in which the reactants are continuously contacted with granular Raney cobalt.
