Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the brazing alloy for producing the heat exchanger made of an aluminum alloy having excellent thermal efficiency and high strength by a brazing method and the process for production of the heat exchanger by using this alloy.
CONSTITUTION: (1) This aluminum alloy brazer contains 0.5 to 12.0wt.% Si and 0.05 to 3.0wt.% Cu and the balance Al and inevitable impurities. (2) This process for production of the heat exchanger made of the aluminum alloy consists in executing brazing at 570 to 585°C by using the aluminum alloy brazer contg. 10.5 to 12.0wt.% Si and 0.05 to 3.0wt.% Cu and the balance Al and inevitable impurities at the time of producing the heat exchanger made of the aluminum alloy by brazing.
