Abstract:
An optical display device production system (film bonding system (1)) comprising: bonding devices (13, 15, 18) for bonding sheet pieces of optical member sheets (F1, F2, F3), which are larger than a display region of an optical display component (P), respectively to both the front and rear surfaces of the optical display component (P); a detection device for detecting the outer peripheral edge of the bonding surfaces of the sheet pieces and the optical display component (P); and a cutting means (40) for cutting along the outer peripheral edge to separate a surplus section, which is disposed at the outer side of a section corresponding to the bonding surface, from the sheet pieces which have been bonded respectively to both the front and rear surfaces of the optical display component (P), and forming the optical members, the sizes of which correspond to the display region, respectively on both the front and rear surfaces of the optical display component (P).
