Abstract:
A masking fixture (100) includes a flexible cover (102) and a rigid cover (104). The flexible cover (102) is received within a cavity of the rigid cover (104). An air connector (106) provides for a purge flow supply to be connected to the masking fixture (100) via a port (112) in fluid communication with an enclosure (114) of the flexible cover (102). A method of repairing a workpiece (10) includes directing a pressurized fluid jet comprising an abrasive media entrained therein against an exterior surface of the workpiece (10) and directing a purge flow through the workpiece (10) while directing the pressurized fluid jet against the exterior surface.
