Abstract:
To make it difficult for a spindle shaft sliding with a bearing to tilt in a measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus S comprises: an outer cylinder 22; a shaft body 23 movable in the longer direction on the side of an inner surface of the outer cylinder 22; a plurality of bearing balls 24 arranged between the inner surface of the outer cylinder 22 and an outer surface of the shaft body 23; and a measurement unit 3 for measuring a relative position between the outer cylinder 22 and the shaft body 23. A first density of the bearing balls 24 in a first area 222 having a first length L1 which is shorter than the entire length of the outer cylinder 22 and is situated from one end of the outer cylinder 22 in the longer direction is larger than a second density of the bearing balls 24 in a second area 223 having a second length L2 which is shorter than the entire length of the outer cylinder 22 and is situated in a central position of the outer cylinder 22 in the longer direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
