Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus, a method, a computer program and computer-readable recording medium for quantizing casting defects generated in a die cast by a simple method which hardly receives influences at positions and in directions of mixture of casting defects and uses no special device.SOLUTION: A first defect size FS representing the length of each of casting defects 4 of a cross section 7 that is a cut or fracture of a part of the product part 5 or the casting plan part 6 of a die cast 3 is exponentiated to calculate a second defect size SS, and all the second defect sizes SS are summed up to calculate a whole defect amount AS, and the whole defect amount AS is divided by the cross sectional area A of a cross section 7 and multiplied by an arbitrary constant C to obtain a CFI (Cold Flake Index) for quantitatively evaluate the mixture state of casting defects 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
