To display the whole screen of a measuring device simultaneously referred to on a display part of an external device.

This device is equipped with a storage part for storing a display control program for allowing the external device to execute the first step (step 31) for acquiring both indicatable sizes in the longitudinal and lateral both directions on the display part of the external device; and the second step (step 33, 34) for displaying the measuring device screen in a specified display size not less than a reference display size when both indicatable sizes are not less than the reference display size of the measuring device screen, and displaying the measuring device screen in a display size reduced with a prescribed reduction ratio when some of both indicatable sizes is smaller than the reference display size. A control part transmits a display control program read out of the storage part together with display data to the external device through a communication part, and allows the external device to execute the display control program, and allows a display part to display the measuring device screen based on the display data.
