PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle measuring instrument capable of making shadows of indicators inconspicuous.SOLUTION: Image information 50 forming therein dark color areas 26 and 28 encompassing shadows of indicators (first indicator 12a, second indicator 14a) rotating along a front surface of a screen 10 is projected onto peripheries of the indicators (first indicator 12a, second indicator 14a), thereby making inconspicuous shadows generated on the peripheries of the first indicator 12a and the second indicator 14a and easing a discomfort.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5C
