Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the machine accuracy of a machine tool, for example, a method and a device used for measuring shifting of a turning center by a 5-axis geometric error measurement method, and a method and a device that are capable of highly accurately measuring the machine error of the turning center of a blade table having a touch probe attached thereto without any limit on the angle range of turning angles.SOLUTION: The directions of a measurement plane and a measurement axis in 5-axis measurement are switched according to the range of turning angles of a touch probe 1. When necessary, the 5-axis measurement is carried out by setting the position of the measurement plane in the measurement axis at a position where a reference ball 2 and the handle rod 12 of the touch probe 1 do not interfere with each other. For example, the 5-axis measurement is carried out by setting the measurement plane at a position where a line connecting the estimated center of the reference ball 2 and the center of the tip ball 11 of the touch probe is vertical to the handle rod 12 of the touch probe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
