Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing method and a medical image processing system for aid for objective diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at short time, and in addition, a biomarker for diagnostic aid for autism spectrum disorder.SOLUTION: The invention is configured to: compare signals indicating a brain activity on at least four regions, with signals of a typically grown person about plural interest regions (ROI) in the brain, for objectively and easily determining an autism spectrum disorder. In the invention, signals (A) obtained from the interest regions (ROI) included in at least four parts, selected from ROI 1 (right spindle-shaped gyrus), ROI 2 (left tongue-shaped gyrus), ROI 3 (right tongue-shaped gyrus), ROI 4 (middle cingulate gyrus), ROI 5 (right tongue-shaped gyrus), ROI 6 (left inferior frontal gyrus) and ROI 7 (left rear part cingulate gyrus), and signals (B) indicating the brain activity which are acquired in advance, about the respective ROIs of a typically grown person, the ROIs are same to the ROIs of a subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
