Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceutical compositions which suppress the reduce of the content of an active ingredient associated with the oxidation or degradation of rapamycin or a derivative thereof, can secure long term stability, and have high safety.SOLUTION: We have found that a pharmaceutical composition prepared by adding a solution containing rapamycin or a derivative thereof into a saccharide with a critical relative humidity at 25°C of 95% or more can suppress the oxidation or degradation of rapamycin or a derivative thereof, and completed the invention. Preferably, as the solution containing the rapamycin or a derivative thereof, a solution containing a stabilizer, such as an antioxidant, and/or a water-soluble polymer carrier, such as a water-soluble cellulose derivative, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: None
