Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for electrophotography that is excellent in providing electrical charge to toner and prevents the occurrence of tackiness on its surface even in high temperature and high humidity.SOLUTION: A member for electrophotography comprises a substrate and a surface layer. The surface layer satisfies requirements (A) and (B). (A) A copolymer including a constitutional unit represented by constitutional formula (1), and at least one selected from the group consisting of a constitutional unit represented by constitutional formula (2) and a constitutional unit represented by constitutional formula (3) is contained in an area from the surface of the surface layer to a depth of 0.1 μm. (B) The density of nitrogen atoms derived from a nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic amine structure in the polymer is 6.0-30.0 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
